Our Mission Statement
To provide a historical arts and entertainment center with the purpose of promoting cultural growth and community involvement.
The presenting/artistic goals of the Fairmont Opera House are to offer a plethora of high quality events not easily accessed in our rural, agricultural community and make them affordable to all citizens in the region.
To insure our goals we have developed residencies, educational programming and shows that challenge our conservative, sports oriented, and small town values patrons.
The specific program objectives of the Fairmont Opera House are to provide an eclectic diversity of high quality performances to our region; challenge our patrons with a mixture of genra; Involve & challenge the youth of our region in the arts; Offer these cultural activities at an affordable cost; and to Educate!!!!
